Oh dear Pakistanis! You are simply outstanding. Few days ago, she was Mahira Khan who was being shamed by Pakistanis on the way she dressed and on her sharing a smoke with Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor. It’s a tough luck for Malala Yousafzai that she is the next target of Pakistanis.
They called her western puppet, CIA agent, American propaganda, and much more. This time, it’s too much. Some of them are calling and comparing her with Mia Khalifa, just for an alleged Malala Yousafzai picture wearing jeans and shirt. We have seen a couple of her pics – posted by famous British magazines and tabloids.
The Telegraph has also published a story Malala’s first day at Oxford but there was no sign of pant shirt in The Telegraph’s story. She was spotted at Oxford University as she attended her matriculation ceremony. She was looking like a real-teenage star wearing in sub fusc, the formal academic dress required for the ceremony.
But some of the famous social media pages of Pakistan have posted a Malala Yousafzai picture – just for the “likes & comments” game. These pages – like Siasat.pk – remained successful to get a number of likes and comments.
Social Media Reaction
There are thousands of social media users who are comparing the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner with Mia Khalifa, Qandeel Baloch, and others. They should keep in mind that Malala was narrowly avoided death in 2012 after being shot in the head by the Pakistani Taliban for her outspoken campaigning over girls’ rights to an education.
Her career as an activist began in early 2009, when she started writing a blog for the BBC about her life under Taliban occupation and promoting education for girls in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. Malala chooses simplicity and dresses that way that represents Pakistani culture in events where the esteem gatherings dress in the most prestigious manner.
