Bolton boxer Amir Khan wants to resolve the feud drama between his family and wife Faryal Makhdoom. But defiant New Yorker won’t back down in feud with her in-laws.
25-year old Pakistani-American beauty has also insisted that her marriage with her boxing champ husband Amir King Khan is ‘stronger than ever.’
“After all the negativity and stuff Amir gets, at the end of the day he comes home to me,” Faryal told the Daily Star Sunday.
“After everything Amir has been through I’m the only one still standing here – no one else is. I don’t see some of his friends, I don’t see some of his family members.
“But I’m still here. That makes him realise, ‘she is The One’. After all the negativity and stuff Amir gets, at the end of the day he comes home to me. So I really don’t give a s***.
Faryal said: “I think after everything Amir has been through I’m the only one still standing here – no one else is. I don’t see some of his friends, I don’t see some of his family members.
“So all the people who said his wife’s not going to be around and his wife is after his money you know what I’m still here at the lowest point of my husbands life.”
Faryal Makhdoom and Khans Family saga is fit for a soap opera and even we can say this story is exactly moving around the circle of pure and typical Asian lifestyle.
She continued: “You know what I think it was something that should have never come out to begin with. I’m a very private person when it comes to family.
“I’m not private about my life – mine and Amir’s lives are out there. I like to share what I want to share.
“It is hard because sometimes you can’t go back and erase your mistakes. But I felt like it had to be out because I never felt like it could have gotten better. Sometimes it does upset me but that’s life.”
Earlier, Amir Khan has dropped his father Sajjad and uncle from his management team. There were also many speculations – by her in-laws – that Faryal Makhdoom is behind this decision of British-Pakistan boxing champion.
And now the boxer has also requested both parties to sit down to resolve the issue. “I think the best way for this to work is both parties sit down and hopefully settle things and speak things out”, Amir told.
“My wife is happy to do that. It’s all just petty stuff really. It was small stuff that just got big. Obviously it was a little bit diffi cult for me because I’ve always been a good son to my parents and everything – it was a tough situation to be in. I love my wife and everything.
She has always been there for me.”
Few days ago, Faryal thought that her marriage with Amir Khan would be a “fairytale” but it was disturbed by public spat between her and 30-year-old Amir Khan’s parents and siblings.
“In my head, living with my new husband was going to be this fairytale,” she said in an interview to Daily Mail. “But it was hard and I didn’t have any friends. Bolton is very backward. Compared to New York, it’s a village,” said Faryal. She also rebutted reports that she had had plastic surgery. Instead, she told the publication, she had resorted to ‘fillers’.
